Materials
925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver is one of the highest-quality and most popular materials in the modern jewelry world. The “925” designation means that the material consists of 92.5% pure silver, combined with small amounts of other metals to improve stability and durability for everyday wear.
Silver is known for its cool shine, timeless elegance, and long-lasting quality. High-quality silver jewelry develops a unique character over time and accompanies you for many years.
At Froyé, we use carefully selected 925 sterling silver materials that are comfortable on the skin and designed for modern, long-lasting jewelry pieces.
Sterling silver is also recyclable and is considered a more conscious choice for high-quality jewelry with long-term value.
14K Gold Plating
Our gold-plated pieces are refined with a fine layer of 14 karat gold. 14K gold contains a high proportion of real gold and is known for its warm, elegant tone.
The gold layer is applied to the base material, giving the jewelry the luxurious appearance of solid gold while keeping it lightweight and comfortable to wear. Modern plating techniques also ensure a durable surface suitable for everyday use.
14K gold-plated jewelry combines a luxurious appearance with modern versatility – ideal for both everyday wear and special occasions.
At Froyé, we focus on high-quality craftsmanship, timeless design, and materials that provide lasting enjoyment.
Rhodium Plating
Rhodium is a rare precious metal from the platinum family, valued in jewelry for its exceptional brightness and durability.
A rhodium coating gives jewelry a particularly clear, elegant surface while also protecting it from scratches, oxidation, and silver tarnishing.
With its cool, mirror-like shine, rhodium-plated jewelry appears modern, high-quality, and timeless at the same time.
At Froyé, we use rhodium finishes to give selected pieces additional durability and a refined, luxurious finish.
Zirconia
Zirconia stones are among the most popular gemstones in modern jewelry design. They are precisely crafted and known for their exceptional brilliance and diamond-like light reflection.
With their clear appearance and subtle shine, zirconia stones give jewelry an elegant and luxurious feel without being overly bold.
Zirconia is also durable and long-lasting, making it ideal for everyday jewelry.
At Froyé, we use zirconia as a modern design element – for subtle sparkle, clean lines, and timeless elegance.
Enamel Jewelry
Enamel is a traditional decorative technique in which colored glass powder is applied to metal surfaces such as gold, silver, or copper and then fired at high temperatures, creating a smooth, glossy, and vibrant finish.
Modern pieces may also use epoxy resin enamel, which achieves a similar visual effect without requiring firing.
Depending on the design, the metal surface is prepared, recessed, or divided with fine metal wires. The enamel is then carefully applied, fired or cured, and finally polished and refined.
Well-known techniques include cloisonné, where metal wires create compartments for color; champlevé, where enamel is filled into carved areas; and plique-à-jour, a delicate method that creates a stained-glass-like effect.
Enamel gives jewelry vibrant color, depth, and an elegant surface. To preserve its beauty, enamel pieces should be protected from strong impacts, scratches, perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning agents.
Freshwater Pearls
Freshwater pearls are formed inside mussels cultivated in freshwater environments. Each pearl develops its own shape, texture, and character, making every piece unique.
For centuries, pearls have symbolized natural elegance and timeless beauty. Modern designs now give them a more minimalist and effortless expression.
Freshwater pearls are known for their soft luster and organic appearance and can be styled in many ways – from everyday looks to special occasions.
At Froyé, we combine classic pearl elements with modern forms to reinterpret timeless jewelry.
